Clean-technologies Symposia - A Successful Springboard
The Alberta Council of Technologies and the Alberta Chapter of the Canada Green Building Council co-hosted the conduct of a clean technologies symposium in Edmonton and Calgary in early March 2010. Participants included 11 moderators and 60 panelists, 350 clean-tech interests including 75 students from post-secondary institutions across Alberta.

The PROCEEDINGS and resolutions of the symposia reflect that the Alberta market is showing a newfound respect for the environment.
Clean Tech Symposia Proceedings
The emerging clean-tech industry is diverse and is facing many challenges from marketing to public education, financing, and establishing policies and standards that will advance the commercialization of clean-techologies.

WHAT's NEXT? Notice of the webcast will be accompanied by a "Call for Nominations" for Alberta's clean-tech leaders to attend a fall convention of Clean-tech industry associations. The intent of the Convention will be to address the resolutions stemming from the March Symposia. |
