Mark Bernard is a Chartered Accountant with 22 years of public practice experience including over 18 years in tax. He has considerable experience working with private and public technology companies on a wide variety of projects including: structuring and licensing, acquisitions and divestitures, transfer pricing, SR&ED claims and corporate restructuring. Mark has written and presented papers for the Canadian Tax Foundation and has given many presentations on taxation and business topics including: owner manager remuneration, the tax implications of technology investments, SR&ED and a wide range of other general taxation and business topics. Mark is currently a tax partner with MNP LLP and is the national tax leader for the firms professionals client group which includes the engineering disciplines and technology.
