Clean-tech Symposia - March 2010
The Alberta Council of Technologies and the Alberta Chapter - Canadian Green Building Council co-hosted the conduct of a clean technologies symposium in Edmonton and Calgary in early March 2010. Participants included 11 moderators and 60 panelists, 350 clean-tech interests including 75 post-secondary students from across Alberta.
The Symposia generated 40 resolutions for advancing Alberta's Clean-tech industry. The concluding resolutions recognize a new found respect for the envronment as a core value of the industry and the merit of forming a Clean-tech industry alliance for advancing the resolutions.

Clean-tech Convention - September 2010
The Alberta Councl of Technologies and the Alberta Chapter- Canadian Green Building Council are co-hosting a convention of Clean-tech interests in Red Deer next September to further cultivate the collaborative power unleashed at the Edmonton and Calgary Clean-tech Symposia.
The convention will review, revise and approve the resolutions drafted at the symposia and will inaugurate formation of a new Alberta Clean-tech Industry Alliance.
