Chris Godwalt is currently engaged as the Alberta WaterSMART Deployment program manager, based in WaterSMART’s Calgary office, a role in which Chris works to develop partnerships with companies to promote and facilitate the collaboration of water stakeholders within various key industry sectors to identify and address priority industry research and new pilot application projects.Chris' education includes a B. Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta, a Masters of Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business, program studies at the Shanghai Institute of Finance and Economics, and the Pan American Institute for High Business Direction in Mexico.His engineering expertise includes a complete range of industrial, commercial and residential products and services, across most water and wastewater treatment applications. Chris has a broad base of experience relating to water and wastewater treatment applications and has worked around the globe in technical, marketing and managerial capacities on projects ranging from individual consulting contracts through to multi-billion dollar projects. He has hands-on experience both designing, engineering and managing water and wastewater treatment systems operating in regions across North America, the Middle East, and South East Asia. Chris is fluent in several languages including Spanish and French. Chris continues to be personally involved in the development of several new water treatment technologies, and is the Technical Chair of the Petroleum Technology Alliance of Canada (PTAC) Water Innovation and Planning Committee |
